Hirsch in Baden-Baden

The hotel is centrally located in Baden-Baden and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. There is no parking on site and somewhat confusing policies with regard to driving in the pedestrian area to check in. We only stayed one night, but I did find the 4 star hotel rating misleading. While quaint and stately this is more of a solid three star “good value” hotel rather than a luxury hotel. There was no air conditioner in our room.

Centrally located hotel in Baden Baden. Rooms have powerful showers, AC units.. I found WiFi was intermittent hence the 4 star review. Parking is tricky and so is access to the hotel with a car. Also the hotel does not really have a bar. However, this hotel is so central there are cafes, pubs and restaurants all over the place.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Heliopark. Great room with a large balcony. Nice en suite bathroom and AC in our room. Perfect location and friendly staff. The breakfast was included and very nice as well. It's about a 10 minute walk to the spa.
